Aadhaar card Online registration

The Unique Identification card program (Aadhaar card) was started early in the second half of previous year (2010) from a village in Maharashtra. But it looks like not many people in Maharashtra have enrolled in the program since then, while other states have zoomed past the numbers of Maha.


Looking at the trend, one can clearly observe that it was only since December 2010 that large numbers of enrolments were happening till now( May 2011 ) 71,54,895  enrolments have taken. 



Aadhar is a humongous program being headed by Nandan Nilekani that aims to deliver a Unique identification number to each and every citizen of India. That number can solely be used to identify a person (easily, online too) any time for providing many services such as opening a bank account, applying for passport etc.
